Disadvantages of Bleach
Bleach has as many disadvantages as it does advantages if not more but when used right these disadvantages can be changed into the biggest of advantages. This list of advantages will list the disadvantages of both dilute and undiluted bleach which are:
1. It is very corrosive meaning it could corrode skin and leave you very irritated
2. It can react with other cleaning chemicals to release dangerous gases like ammonia and chlorine
3. It has a strong smell and can fade colors like cotton clothes(check sweater for example in gallery)
4. Gases are toxic and can cause respiratory problems like Asthma along with harming the environment by killing fish due to the chemicals given off when reacting with water and replacing H2O with Cl
5. Approximately 28% of poisonings from household cleaners are due to bleach which can especially harm pets due to their lower air intake and stay at home wife due to their constant contact with dangerous chemicals like bleach
